This policy describes how Cleaver handles information when you use the app. Operated by the publisher of Cleaver Kitchen ("we," "us," "our").
Cleaver is a cooking app. You can use core cooking and export features without creating an account. Some features (especially AI/video recipe import) may process content you choose to import. We do not operate a social feed.
A. Information you provide
B. Content you choose to import
Imported content is used to produce an editable preview you can review before saving.
C. Technical / device information
Some imports use machine-learning services. When cloud processing is used, content needed for that import may be sent to processors solely to generate a recipe draft. We aim to avoid unnecessary cloud AI, cache identical imports where appropriate, and always show a preview before save.
Cleaver is not designed to generate recipes from nothing as a core offering.
Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple. We receive signals needed to unlock features and import allowances on your devices.
We share information only with Apple (distribution, purchases, notifications as applicable), service providers who help us operate the app (under contracts limiting their use), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Recipes and settings remain until you delete them or remove the app. Server-side import/processing logs are kept only as needed for security, abuse prevention, metering, and debugging. Support emails are retained as needed to resolve your request.
Cleaver is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you use Cleaver outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our providers operate.
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date on this page.
